Pastor Elvin Ezekiel was the founder of Tabernacle of Faith COGIC, which was originally named Interdenominational Faith Healing Center located in Deptford, NJ.  He believed and taught on the principle that "If you hold on to the horns of the alter, the Lord will make a way." Through prayer and faith, God blessed the ministry to acquire the deed to the present location in Camden, NJ.  He completed his pastoral duties in December 1993.
